Camping Outside the Park
Private campgrounds outside the Park
Devils Lake State Park campgrounds book up quickly. Clients often ask us about private camping options outside the park. Fortunately, there are many great places to stay, as a variety of local campgrounds have popped up over the years to accommodate overflow traffic from the park.
Expect to pay more for private campsites. Most private campground rates vary with the season, charging premiums for summer dates and holiday weekends. However, many have full RV hookups and cabin rentals. Many also include additional amenities such as swimming pools, playgrounds, game rooms, laundry facilities, and more.
