Administrative Assistant
The Administrative Assistant is an effective communicator who represents DLCG and provides excellent customer service. In addition to managing client calls and email correspondence, the Administrative Assistant works directly under the Owner and Operations Manager to schedule events, create staff assignments, complete business-related projects, update documents, and maintain organization. Work hours are variable and flexible.

Explore client context and offer caring, empathic attitude toward educating and supporting client inquiries
Work independently, often in unfamiliar territory
Manage flexible work hours from home
Roles
Thoroughly learn DLCG trip and course offerings
Check and respond to client emails and phone calls. Approximately 30 - 60 minutes, 2-3x per day
Educate clients about our offerings, procedures and policies (email and phone)
Invoice clients who have requested trips
Schedule trips and courses and assign appropriate staff
Consult with Owner and/or Operations Manager when unfamiliar questions arise
Complete additional administrative projects as directed by Owner and Operations Manager
Availability
Mid-March through late September is preferred. Time commitment is approximately 10 - 15 hours/week, irregular but flexible.
Qualifications
Successful candidates must:
Own a computer and phone with reliable internet and phone service
Be comfortable working remotely from home
Type a minimum of 50 words/minute
Be familiar with Google Workspace
Be familiar with outdoor adventure pursuits (rock climbing experience preferred)
The ideal candidate will be a climber with experience in the outdoor industry, but we do not require this. This role can be combined with one of our instructor roles for the right candidate.
Compensation
$15 - $20/hr + standard employee benefits
