Kevin Bergstrom
I was born and raised in New Lenox, IL. I spent my summers during high school and college working at a summer camp in the Michigan's Upper Peninsula, doing grounds crew work and leading wilderness trips. I graduated from Northland College in Ashland, WI with a degree in Outdoor Adventure Education. The day after I graduated, I made my way to Lander, Wyoming for an Instructor Course with NOLS (National Outdoor Leadership School). I spent the next 11 years leading rock climbing, mountaineering and fly-fishing courses for NOLS throughout the inter-mountain west. After 120 weeks in the field, I decided I needed more of a desk job. The last three years in WY I took on the position of Assistant Director of NOLS Rocky Mountain.
Wanting to be closer to our family and take care of a little piece of the earth, my wife and I purchased a 48-acre farm in Mineral Point, WI in 2011. In addition to guiding climbing and being dad, my wife and I run Point View Farm where we raise all natural, grass-fed, no antibiotic lamb.
