MWC 2025: Anchors II
Sunday, June 1st, 2025 | 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Hone and expand your traditional anchor-building skills with this custom course for MWC climbers only. Learn to place traditional climbing hardware (like nuts, hexes, tricams and spring-loaded camming devices) and build upon simpler anchor concepts from Anchors I to construct complex, compound anchors using an infinite number of anchor points. The experiential course format involves lots of hands-on practice with gear and concepts, making sure you can apply concepts and have lots of opportunities for practice.
Note this course will focus on skill-building and practice and will not involve rock climbing. Our hope is that by prioritizing practice, students will be more comfortable venturing out their own to climb post-course!
***This course will not run if less than five participants enroll***
